CLINICALLY DRIVEN + COLLEGIALLY DESIGNED

The hbCOR software is centered on the needs of the clinician. Since our inception in 1992, we have known that most effective way to develop a powerful and reflexive software platform, is through collegial partnerships with our clinical users. Working directly with our customers – listening to their concerns and honoring their suggestions for improvement – allows us to build a tool that is fast, efficient, and tailored specifically to the individual needs of each health care institution. The heartbase platform is consistently being refined based on the feedback of our collaborative network of some of the leading healthcare facilities in the US.

WEB-BASED FORM DESIGN

The heartbase data screen is modeled after the paper data collection forms (DCF) provided by the registries, and includes the entire registry dataset on one page. All forms scale to a tablet for easy Point of Care collection, and include browser functions like quick search and zoom.

ROLE-BASED VIEWS

All forms are customizable to meet the unique workflow demands of your facility. User views can be created to assign specific datasets to the users responsible for data capture, allowing for role-based data entry from the perfusion, anesthesia, lab, and surgery teams.

REAL-TIME AUDITING

The heartbase data entry tool provides real-time feedback on relational checks, on-demand measure scoring such as NQF or Risk-Adjusted, missing, or unusual data that may interfere with your facility's data quality results. When a value is entered that appears outside of the usual range or triggers a relational check, the field will be flagged, and will also appear when the user runs the Single-Case Audit, the interactive list of all missing, out-of-range, possible mismatch, or incorrect data.

CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT

Heartbase data entry forms are flexible, able to accommodate customization at every size - from a few fields to comprehensive custom registries. Heartbase's team of registry technicians will roll your site's custom data elements forward with each new version, ensuring that your custom data is maintained in perpetuity.

"Creating software is very similar to brewing beer. They both take time, patience, and a keen eye for detail. And just like with beer, everyone’s software preferences are a little different. That’s why we have developed the heartbase hbCOR platform to be one of the most flexible on the market, while still maintaining the highest degree of data integrity.

Whether it is through custom registries and reports, unique data imports, intuitive data entry preferences, or custom role-based access, we will work with your team to make sure your heartbase software is tailored to your tastes. - David Baxter, Lead Developer
